In some circumstances, you may lose access to programs installed on a storage card (Secure DIGITAL, Compact Flash...)
You install programs on the Pocket PC storage card, then you activate the mail option of saving attached documents on the storage card...
Afterwards, by misfortune, you start your Pocket PC without the storage card...
It is then that you do not have any more access to programs installed on the storage card even after its reinsertion.
After having activated the option of saving attached documents on the storage card, the mail program creates a new folder on the storage card (Storage Card\attached xxx)…
When you start the Pocket PC without the storage card, the mail program, not finding the card, creates a new folder (this time on the internal memory) giving it the name: Storage card\attached xxx
You reinsert the card...
The system, having already something named "Storage Card", gives a new name to the card "Storage Card1”
As the short cuts of your programs refer to Storage Card (and not Storage Card1...) you can no more access your programs!
